Abuja (WorldStage Newsonline)-- Vice President Namadi Sambo on Saturday at the breaking of the final Ramadan fast with Christians and Muslim Clerics prayed to Allah to grant the prayers and supplication offered during the holy month of Ramadan and grant the nation peace.
Sambo who was also joined by the Head of Service of Federation, Bello Isah and top presidential aides prayed to God to grant President Goodluck Jonathan administration the wisdom to implement the transformation agenda.
Prayers were said by the Chief Imam of National Mosque, Musa Mohammed also prayed for the peace and unity in nation.
Earlier, the Vicar of Aso Chapel, Obioma Onwuzurumba said the breaking fast together with brethren of both faiths simply amplified the hope, unity in Nigeria even in the face of challenges.
He also prayed that Nigeria will remain indivisible and that the spiritual benefits of the fast will felt by all Nigerians.
He prayed that God will strengthen the leadership of government and others in position of authority for them to deliver dividend of democracy to Nigerians.
