UBA Moneygram celebrates 15 years of success in Nigeria; Launches promotion for customers
As part of commitment to reward loyalty, UBA MoneyGram, a product of the relationship between United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc and MoneyGram International is leveraging on 15 years of robust relationship with its esteemed customers in Nigeria by introducing an anniversary package, which enables every customer to win valuable prizes.
The ‘UBA-MoneyGram 15 Years Anniversary Promo’ is in recognition of the landmark achievement by UBA in its partnership with MoneyGram. Since 1997, UBA has been the pioneer and leading agent of MoneyGram Money Transfer Company in Nigeria where the bank has successfully grown the MoneyGram brand and has also expanded into the shores of African countries. Also as an incentive to reward customers, UBA planned to execute hospital based CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in four regions namely Lagos (LUTH), Ibadan , Benin and Owerri.
Head, Retail Products , Ms Olumide Osunyomi, said “the partnership has been a highly rewarding one for UBA as well as MoneyGram International.” According to her, customers who receive money via UBA MoneyGram will win big in the promotion which will run from 23rd July to 23rd October 2012. Some of the items to be won include fridges, home theatres and 32’LCD TVs, as well as instant gift items. She emphasised that the promo was part of the overall strategy by UBA and MoneyGram to drive and sustain customer loyalty, while encouraging patronage by other targets that require money transfer services within and outside the country where MoneyGram services are offered by the bank. “In the promo exercise, no customer was left out as every transaction attract instant gift. Every customers stands the chance to win valuable prizes namely LCD TVs, Home Theatre Sets and fridges once they receive money through the bank as well as instant gifts of biro, key rings and table clothes,” she added.
