National Summit on Tourism holds in March

Mr Abiodun Odusanwo, National President, Institute for Tourism Professionals (ITP) says the forthcoming National Summit and Expo on Tourism would build stronger synergy between tourism and transportation sector.

Odusanwo who made this known in an interview  on Tuesday in Abuja said the summit scheduled for March 12 and 13 in Abuja, is aimed at building progressive development in the two industries.

The president said that no fewer than 800 nationals and international participants from tourism and transport sectors across the world are expected.

“The National Summit and Expo on Tourism and Transport is the combined tourism and transportation industries event anchored by the ITP in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, tourism and other relevant stakeholders.

“The Summit aim to deliberate on the complex relationship between transport and tourism in boosting the economy of both sectors. It will create and build stronger synergy between the two industries.

“We expect to host over 800 nationals and international participants from tourism and transport sectors across the world.

Odusanwo said that the summit would offer unique opportunities to meet with regulators, decision makers and investors in the industries to showcase their services to over 1000 delegates.

He said that delegate from national and international travels, aviation, railways, airports operation; tourism and hospitality industry would be at the summit. (NAN)
